A classic 19th Century apartment on the canal front of Christenshaven. This space had not been altered since the electricity was first installed. In its original state there was plenty of room for potential with beautiful high ceilings and great views - but the cramped kitchen, inadequate living space, limited natural light & small room configuration didn’t work for today’s needs.

The brief was to achieve light, flow and functionality to this 80sqm apartment on the canal front. Maximising the space, with clever storage solutions and introducing a fresh bright design feel.

The project was a renovation with a complete reconfiguration of the spaces, resulting in a spacious, light and accommodating environment, to work for a couple or small family.
